Cold Start To November Will Help Natural Gas Break Out Of $3.35 To $3.65 Range
- Details
We examine the latest developments in the natural gas market.
Natural gas prices were little changed after the Energy Information Administration reported that operators injected 67 billion cubic feet into storage last week, within the 63 to 69 bcf that most analysts were expecting.
The injection was below the year-ago build of 92 bcf and close to the five-year average build of 68 bcf.

In turn, inventories now stand at 3843 bcf, which is 127 bcf above the year-ago level and 258 bcf above the five-year average (calculated using a slightly different methodology than the EIA).
